classical massage
The muscular system of the skeleton consists of over 600 muscles and serves to move the body. It is controlled by the CNS (central nervous system). The movement of the skeletal muscle is caused by the sequence of contraction and relaxation of the muscle, which receives an impulse from the spinal cord and cranial nerves. The muscle is composed of several muscle fibre bundles, which in turn consist of many muscle fibres. The muscle fibres corresponds to a muscle cell. The muscle fibre bundle is covered by a layer of connective tissue and in this layer. There are nerve vessels and blood vessels that also reach the muscle cell.
The musculoskeletal system does not only involve one muscle, but at least its antagonist. For the movement, the joints are involved and it refers to several muscles working together. The muscles involved in the movement are grouped together as muscle chains/muscle loops. If a dysbalance arises for example due to physical or psychological stress, incorrect position at work or accident, it can affect a joint, vertebral segment as well as structures: knees, pelvis, shoulders, neck and the new chain reaction dissolves. Classical massage looks at these muscle chains/muscle loops and uses adapted massage techniques to restore the physiological sequence of the muscle loops.
lymph drainage
The lymphatic system represents a second drainage system, which is placed alongside the venous system. This system ensures that substances are absorbed from the intercellular space.
The most important tasks of the lymphatic vessels are drainage and removal of tissue fluid and the various substances contained in it in the venous blood circulation. In addition, the lymphatic system is an important part of the immune system.
The aim of manual lymphatic drainage (ML) and complex physical decongestion therapy (CPD) is to improve or restore disturbed lymphatic drainage. It helps above all with the following diseases:
-
Lymphoedema of any genesis
-
Traumatic oedema
-
Postoperative oedema
-
Phleboedema
-
Lipoedema
-
Rheumatic diseases
-
Arthroses
foot reflexology massage
Foot reflexology is one of the holistic therapies. A treatment encompasses the whole human being as a unit within itself. The foot is a microcosm of the whole organism - organs, glands and structures reflect the body parts accordingly. As soon as these reflex zones are stimulated, the tension in the body dissolves and leads to a deep relaxation.
The main goal of reflexology is relaxation, which improves the blood supply to the feet and also to the organs, glands, muscles, vessels in the corresponding zone that is being reflexed. Through specific pressure techniques, flowing or standing circles, a dynamic type of foot massage is achieved which has a very relaxing, regenerating and strengthening effect. The self-healing powers are activated and certain sufferings can be alleviated.
therapeutic massage
Body-centered - The therapy encourages physiological processes to come into homeostasis. While muscular tensions, tense ligaments and tissue adhesions as well as congestions are released, the free flow of the vascular, lymphatic and nervous systems is ensured.
Self-awareness - During the treatment you become aware of your problem areas. You notice which muscles are tense or shortened, which organs are not in homeostasis or where there are congestions as well as adhesions in the tissues.
Strengthening and recovery - The human organism is capable of coping with changing external environmental influences and maintaining its vital and dynamic balance. This constant, continuous and adaptive regulation happens mostly unconsciously through our thinking, feeling and acting. Because these also influence the biochemical processes. My therapy supports you on various levels that are important to ensure complete recovery in the body. Self-awareness promotes the ability to work on your problem areas. It increases the body's readiness to come to recovery physically, mentally and spiritually with its own efforts.
The method:
The body is a living organ that is structured in many ways, whereby the structures communicate with each other and support each other. However, this also means that when one structure or system becomes imbalanced, other systems are also affected. It depends on which system or structure is more out of balance. Over time, dysfunction occurs, which is also the beginning of a chain reaction that can create a (major) imbalance in the body. The body has a natural ability to adapt, which is why this imbalance is not immediately noticed by ourselves. Only when pain occurs, tensions become noticeable in the body or when symptoms indicate a dysfunction in an organ, we have the feeling that "something is wrong".
Throughout the process, I use the therapy that is most urgent:
Therefore, I notice the tension states of the body on different systems to ensure the healthy interconnectedness of all systems. Through the versatile therapies applied to the existing tensions in the body and with reference to the musculoskeletal system, there subsequently occurs good communication and cooperation between the organs and systems in the body. In this case, the free flow of circulation and lymph becomes possible again. This enables an upright body as well as its recovery. Vitality and strength are fully restored.
visceral therapy
The organs: Relationship of the organs and the musculoskeletal system is the basis of visceral therapy.
We feel well and are healthy when our organs function well. They provide the energy for all the cells in our body - so we live on the basis of our organs and as long as they function.
The organs are attached to the musculoskeletal system through various structures. In addition, they have space where they can move in order to ensure their own metabolism and activity. The organ also has its own supply, vascular or nervous. This results in an association of certain areas of the spine with the organs. In the sense, it can indicate that a state of tension on a certain segment of the spinal column influences the organ. Or, vice versa, that through restrictions of movement or a state of tension of the organ. Due to this connection to the nervous system, afferent impulses can cause this state of tension after a long existing feedback. A healthy organ can perform the metabolism well to ensure the supply of the whole body, but if it is limited because of its space or a dysfunction can cause considerable dysfunctions in other systems in the body.
Dysfunction can be caused by infections, emotional stress, stress, scoliosis, poor posture, malnutrition, medication, surgery, hormonal problems, problems with the structure of the musculoskeletal system. Tension builds up in these stressed organs, which subsequently transmits the musculoskeletal system as well as tissue deposits accumulate. For example, problems in the lumbar spine, ISG and hip can be due to tensions from the bladder or intestines.
Thus the nervous system and the organs have a parallel connection, which influences the physical structure in all senses. In the therapy the organs are supported with very gentle movements as well as released from the environment if necessary.
mpt - manual pain therapy
The muscle loops and fasciae: In orthodox medicine, the spine is considered the central supporting organ of the human body and the protective covering for the spinal cord. In addition, it is the superordinate control organ for all functions of the organs, tissue and cells of our body.
Dysfunctions, changes in the tissues as well as pain in any area of the body that have arisen for various reasons can certainly cause a disbalance in the musculature and consequently in the joints. As well as the other way round, imbalances in the muscular action and muscle loops can cause pain, which then leads to a corresponding malfunction and bad posture. In addition, pain is a complex sensory perception which, as an acute event, has the character of a warning and guidance signal. The muscles shorten as a result of relieving posture. The joint geometry changes negatively as a result, the fasciae come under tension and the musculature becomes (or was already) toned, which leads to an emotional reaction - the person feels stressed and immobile. But it is the movement that is necessary to reverse the whole process. Therfore it is important to include specific exercises in the therapy which are easy to apply and give freedom from pain, mobility and a new body feeling, energy and vitality.
functional nerve mobilisation
The nervous system is superordinate to the entire body. It controls the various activities in the body: the muscular system and organs and serves to record, process and store information. In cooperation with the hormonal system, it controls the performance of all organs, which are constantly adapted through communication with the outside world and within the body with special sensors: Sensors and receptors pick up changes in the outside world of the body. The information goes via the afferent (adding) nerve fibres up to the superordinate center, is processed and directs the response to the corresponding reaction via the efferents. The control by the nervous system takes place consciously and unconsciously. In relation to its function, there are basically two parts:
-
The autonomic (vegetative or visceral) nervous system - controls unconscious functions.
-
The somatic part (somatic nervous system) which serves the innervation of the skeletal muscles and sensory perception.
Both systems are functionally connected and influence each other. A healthy nervous tissue is characterized by various properties. One is mechanical: a certain neurodynamic (movement of the nerve). The other is physiological: vascularization and axonal-plasmic transport. A peripheral nerve originates from the spinal cord and has a course to its destination. They give off branches into this course. The peripheral nerves are attached to the surrounding tissues, in certain places there are points of tension, they indicate the entry of blood vessels, narrowing of the spinal canal, the formation of plexuses as well as the attachment of the nerve to its surroundings. The nerve also has a certain extensibility, but it is not as high as the complete extensibility of a muscle. The nerve has its own circulatory system and is particularly sensitive to circulatory disturbances. Excessive stretching and pressure/compression negatively alters the blood flow to the nerve.
Long-lasting forces that press on the nerve, be it atrophic changes in the tissue or adhesions in the fascial area or tense (like shortened) muscles, cause a reduced blood supply to the nerve and can lead to a lack of reduction as well as to degenerative changes in the nerve, often causing pain anyway but also inflammation in the nerve itself and a non-optimal neural transmission as well as axoplasm transport.
kinesiology
Kinesiology is a holistic method, which means "teaching of movement".
All living things are in motion. Movement brings a flow, whether in life or in the body, both on a physical and psychological level. Stagnation can lead to not moving forward and always going in circles - tension and stress arise. This is reflected in various processes, in the psyche and in the body of the human being, be it in the function of the muscles or their states of tension.
Once the stress, which has arisen from certain situations, events, feelings or emotions, is identified, it can be relieved with various kinesiological techniques. When balance is restored, you will be able to deal with stress factors better and more easily.
Understanding, calmness and strength can be rebuilt through various systems so that a problem is no longer an obstacle but a challenge that can be addressed and solved.

bioptron light & colour therapy
Light Therapy

Light is important for our life and for our health!
Light plays an extremely important role in our lives. We know that no life is possible without light. Without sunlight, our body cannot produce vitamin D, for example. This is one of the most important vitamins, which is involved in many metabolic processes in our body.
The benefits of light go far beyond our personal sense of comfort and well-being. Light is an essential part of our natural biological system and is necessary for our metabolism and immune system.
The function of light is manifold in the human body. The absence of light can have serious effects on our body and physical processes.
Effect of light in the body
Light must be absorbed to cause a biological response. Different tissues and cells in the body have unique light absorption characteristics that determine which wavelengths of light are absorbed to produce a particular therapeutic effect.

BIOPTRON Light Therapy System

The BIOPTRON Light Therapy System is a medical light therapy device with a specific optical unit. It emits light similar to some of the rays produced by the sun, but the electromagnetic spectrum is produced naturally without UV radiation.

The unique technology of the BIOPTON Light

The BIOPTRON Light is polarized. The electromagnetic waves of the polarized light only oscillate on parallel planes - accordingly, the light can penetrate the skin better. The advantage of the Bioptron light is that the combination of wavelengths of infrared light and visible light is considered beneficial in the treatment of various problems and injuries. Both visible and infrared light have been shown to influence different positive changes at the cellular level. The biostimulative effect of bioptron light is the result of synergies between different mechanisms of action. When the bioptron light hits the skin, it stimulates light-sensitive intracellular structures and biomolecules. This triggers a cellular chain reaction that is not limited to the treated skin area but affects the entire body.

Applications of Bioptron Light Therapy:
Bioptron light therapy can be used as a complementary treatment for various indications. It has been scientifically proven to have a positive effect in certain areas:
-
Strengthening immunity
-
Skin impurities and skin diseases
-
Stimulation of wound healing
